Each of our Proud Furniture showrooms has a terrific selection of beautiful upholstery fabrics for you to choose from to use on your new sofa purchase. Fabrics include those from Warwicks, Wortley, Profile Fabrics, Elliot Clarke and others.

Whether you need family-friendly fabrics, a contemporary stripe, a luscious velvet or a traditional floral - we can offer you a broad and ever changing selection of fabrics to choose from.

FABRIC

Imported furniture generally offers only limited cover options which may compromise the search for individuality. Here at Proud Furniture by choosing Australian Made furniture you have a unique opportunity to customise your selections with a huge variety of fabric options.

FABRIC CARE & MAINTENANCE

We take great pride in the fabric selection we have available to our customers and with proper care your fabric will remain in excellent condition. Proud Furniture recommends regular maintenance of your lounge to retain the quality of your suite.

Various factors determine the life expectancy of your fabric: colour, weight, fibre content etc. Due to these variables, some fabrics may require specific cleaning solutions or procedures. All furnishing fabrics are provided with a Fabric Care Label to advise correct and suitable care instructions for your particular fabric. Always refer to your Fabric Care Label before attempting ANY cleaning.

GENERAL CARE

When arranging your furniture, care should be taken to avoid touching external walls or heat sources to prevent problems of moisture build up and/or heat damage. Take care to prevent sharp objects such as rings, buckles and pets’ claws from coming into contact with your furniture, as this may cause snagging or tearing of the fabric.

The fabric should be vacuumed regularly (weekly) using low suction and a soft upholstery attachment. Rotate reversible cushions regularly. Protect from direct sunlight.

Do not remove cushion covers for separate cleaning or washing, even though they may have zippers. Do not wet filling. Do not scrub with stiff or harsh brushes.

In the event of an accidental spill use the products provided in your Fabric Care Kit (refer to the instructions provided on the products).

When purchasing furniture upholstered in fabric, Proud Furniture recommend the purchase of a Studio Leather Extended 5 Year Warranty Program. This gives you the peace of mind that your sofa will be serviced in the event of an accidental stain or spill for the next five years at no charge to you, certainly a wise way to protect your new upholstery investment.
