How long does it take to make a custom lounge?
Each lounge is handmade to order right here in Sydney. Our lead time is approximately 4-6 weeks, allowing time for fabric or leather supply, skilled craftsmanship and thorough quality checks. Other furniture businesses have huge waiting times being dependent on international freight.
Can I choose my any fabric or leather?
Yes! We have a huge selection of designer fabrics and Italian leathers in a variety of colours, textures, and styles. Whether you're after something bold and modern or soft and timeless, we’ll help you find the perfect match.
Can you make to size to suit my space?
Absolutely. Every lounge we make can be sized to suit your room and lifestyle — from the length and depth to seat height and cushion firmness.
Do you offer complementary pieces?
We do! Many of our lounge styles can be made as matching armchairs, love seats, or ottomans, or we can create a unique piece tailored to your space.
What if I’m unsure about what will work in my home?
No problem! We love helping customers bring their vision to life. Bring in your room dimensions or photos and we’ll guide you through the process, from layout ideas model selection and fabric choice.
What warranties are included?
Yes. All our lounges come with a 10-year structural warranty, we also have warranties on seating foam, seat webbing and stitching. For extra peace of mind, we also offer an optional fabric and leather protection system that covers stains, rips, tears and more.
Can I visit your showroom?
Yes, and we’d love to see you! Come in to experience our quality, test comfort options, and explore our full range of materials in person. Our team is always here to help. We are open 9-5 seven days a week.
Does the Studio Upholstery Care fabric protection pose any health risks?
The fabric protection included in our Fabric Warranty Pack is a modern, water-based solution called Encapuclean Green DS. Unlike older formulations that have been the subject of media reports, this product is non-toxic, non-flammable, and considered safe for use in homes with children and pets once applied and dried. According to the official Safety Data Sheet (attached), the product does not contain any known carcinogens or ingredients listed under California Proposition 65. It is not classified as hazardous under Australian or U.S. safety regulations when used as directed. While it may cause mild skin or eye irritation in its concentrated liquid form (as is common with many cleaning agents), it poses no risk after application and drying. The treatment is designed to help protect upholstery against spills and staining, without affecting the feel or breathability of the fabric.
